About

Ienjoy educating and helping others learn about how they can take charge of their lives by making healthy choices. I want to help bring concepts about nutrition and wellness to life for others by showing them how eating healthier and being active can transform the way they feel every day. I’m passionate about making myself available as a resource for others to learn about how they can experience a greater quality of life through effective nutritional and lifestyle changes.
Born with a Colombian heritage, I was raised in South East Florida and my inspiration to help others led me to double-major in Biology and Psychology. I eventually earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami and attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada. In my third and fourth years of medical school, I completed various clinical rotations with Elmhurst Hospital, Queens Hospital, and Kingsbrook Hospital. My educational and personal journey, as well as my clinical experience, has continued to ignite my passion for helping others.
Today, I am back in the beautiful city of Miami to pursue my Masters in Public Health before I return to residency. In the meantime, I enjoy sharing my insights on health and wellness through my website.
